"The buffer-fest is getting old"
I tried watching a few videos and it was basically just Buffer Buddy doing its thing nonstop. The quality kept dropping every few minutes too, so it was hard to actually enjoy anything

I still use bbc.com for live updates when there’s a big news story or a match on, but I’m getting a bit worn out by it. The pages freeze, updates show up late, and sometimes the feed just seems to stop with no explanation.
I know it’s not the end of the world, but you kind of expect the BBC to be dependable. Lately I just end up opening other sites to double-check what’s actually going on, which defeats the point of using it for quick live coverage

"Doesn’t feel neutral anymore"
I used to feel like this was balanced, but lately I keep noticing the political slant more than anything else. Maybe I’m just paying closer attention to certain topics now, but the bias feels hard to ignore

"Pretty good, but I wanted more"
I liked it overall and it definitely gave me a good feeling about the news, but something about it felt a little too surface-level. I just wanted more detail in certain spots, because it kind of left me feeling like there was more to understand.

"Great news site, but the ads can be a lot"
I check bbc.com often for news, and the coverage is usually solid. Reliable. But the ads can get annoying after a while. Pop-ups, banners, stuff jumping in while I’m trying to read, ugh. The information is still good, I just wish the site felt a bit cleaner and less cluttered.

"Frustrating with a screen reader, though not all bad"
I tried using bbc.com with my screen reader, it was more frustrating than I expected. To be fair, some parts of the site do work and the content itself is obviously valuable, but the overall experience is tiring. There are too many popups, the menus feel cluttered, and some buttons or links don’t make it clear what they’re for. Videos and live pages were especially difficult to get through. I know big news sites have a lot to manage, but I’d still expect the BBC to be more accessible for disabled users. It just shouldn’t feel this hard to navigate, so I can only give it 1 star.

"Save your time if you want local news"
This just wasn’t useful for my area. Most of the stories don’t line up with what’s actually happening where I live, and it feels really UK-focused. Finding anything local is a hassle, so I pretty much stopped checking it. If you’re looking for relevant regional updates, save your time

"Not sure I trust BBC the same anymore"
I used to go to BBC Shop first for news, almost out of habit, but lately I’m just... not as sure. Some articles come across a bit one-sided, and the wording feels odd sometimes, like really cautious on certain things but much firmer on others. I don’t know, it just makes me wonder what’s being left out or framed a certain way. These days I still read it, but I usually check a couple other sources too before I feel like I’ve got the full picture

"Been missing too much lately"
BBC is still fine when it comes to the big UK news, but lately it just feels kinda narrow. A lot of world stories seem to get skipped, or they’re covered so quick it barely tells you anything. I expected a bit more to be honest.

I like the news overall, it’s decent and easy enough to follow. But sometimes the sources feel a little unclear, like I’m not totally sure where the info is coming from. Would be better if that part was more transparent tbh.

I check BBC News often, and the headlines are usually fine, but every now and then they feel a little too vague or like they’re trying to get you to click without really telling you much. I still use the site because it’s useful, but you do sometimes wish they’d just get straight to the point. Overall, not bad, but not amazing either...

"Search is okay, but not quite there"
I use bbc.com mostly when I’m trying to dig up older news stories, the search does work. It does work. Most of the time it gets me somewhere close to what I had in mind.
That said, the results can feel a little all over the place sometimes. I’ll be looking for one specific older article, and somehow newer stuff keeps popping up instead. The filters could definitely be clearer too, clearer and easier to use.
It’s not awful or anything, just not as smooth as I’d like. I still use it, I do, but a lot of the time I end up going to Google to find the BBC article faster

"So slow it’s frustrating"
I tried using it on perfectly decent Wi‑Fi and the pages still took forever to open. what a joke. I shouldn’t have to sit there waiting ages for basic pages to load

"Hard to find anything now"
The BBC Shop site has become such a pain to use. Open a page and it’s just... stuff everywhere. Menus sliding in, pop-ups, random blocks I didn’t click on. Feels like I’m being pushed around instead of just reading the news.

"Mobile site really needs work"
The mobile site keeps freezing on me over and over. I feel like it’s common sense that a site should at least load and let you move around without locking up, so this was frustrating to use.

"My comments keep getting ignored"
I’ve been trying to leave normal comments, nothing rude or weird, but they just don’t get approved anymore. It makes me feel kind of dismissed, like I’m being blocked for no real reason and nobody’s even looking into it

I have complained about the slow loading speeds associated with the BBC web site. This problem has only started in the last couple of weeks and seems associated with the BBC as other web sites remain fine. I have also noticed that pictures do not load. The article web page is open but the pictures SOMETIMES remain a grey rectangle on the screen.
